Blend of 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot. A true second wine of Ornellaia that has medium-to-high intensity aromas of sweet ripe cherry, strawberry, raspberry, violets and vanilla. It's medium-to-full bodied with refined tannins and mouthwatering acids. Cassis, milk chocolate, and cocoa flavours follow the aroma profile on the palate. Very smooth, finishing long. Classy! Tasted Nov/2015.
