Brilliant, bright yellow. Complex nose of mineral, apple, bosc pear, oyster shell, honey, almond skin, cabbage (seems like some botrytis but apparently none in this vintage). Palate is a touch off-dry, medium bodied, balanced despite the high acid and high alcohol. Incredible texture with white peaches, ripe pear and a long, mineral finish. The best Verdicchio I have tasted from Accadia, and possibly ever.
