Each of the critics hit some nails on the heads. Gentle, rich, mellow, and, as per Steve, a lovely nose. Acidity and tannins only just sufficient. I didn't detect significant vanilla or oak, but that may be the age of the nose rather than the nose ;-). I think Michael's review got the overall feel right.
