If you have a bottle of this in your cellar, now is the time. Amarone with perhaps a more new world twist. Ultra rich, viscous, port-like and lip-smacking good. This label was the favourite at North of 9's Amarone tasting. (northof9finewine, March 2011)

Tasted October 2013. Dense, rich and sweet. Filled with stewed fruit, velvety chocolate and caramelized baking spices. Perhaps lakes some of the layered nuances of more refined examples, but it is utterly delicious nonetheless.
