This 100% Carricante was aged in concrete tanks and has lovely, fresh earthy, mineral, pear, and stone fruit aromas. The concentrated palate is crisp with lively, energetic acids and leesy, herbal, and smoky flavours with touches of ripe stone fruits. Excellent length on the long, spicy finish. Tasted Oct/2019. Floral and pear aromas. Taste of pear and stone. What I enjoyed the most about this wine is the acidity and crispness. It is a very refreshing wine.

In the words of the Le Grand Cru head Somm, "buy 10". This wine is expressive and surprising. Mineral with hints of tropical fruit, that never veers to far into one category. Notes of white fruit and stone. Great Vaule.
