A 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend from the famed Silverado Trail in Napa Valley, California. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec, 2% Petite Sirah, 1% Merlot. Aged over 12 months in French and American oak. The year 2015 was very hot and dry in California, which produced very ripe (jammy) and small (concentrated flavors) grapes and wines. This one has prominent vanilla from new oak barrel aging, blackberry jam, baking spice, cedar, violets. This is a smooth smooth wine. No overt acidity, tannin, bitterness.
