Shipping Locations, Fees & COVID-19

The way the shipping works with the Exchange is that you pay to ship your wine to your door (we just make it painless and completely transparent to you). Beyond Ontario, our exemplary and unparalleled national service, Canada Post, will deliver anywhere across this great, united country, right from sea to shining sea.

Since wine is essential (we all knew that), shipments are proceeding during the COVID-19 crisis, details here.

In Ontario we use professional wine couriers, not Canada Post.
• FIL Delivery (M postal code only) $12/case on average
• ICS Courier (Ontario outside of M postal code) $20/case on average

Below are the average shipping costs paid in the last six months (as of April 5th, 2020) to the most popular destinations. Wine Deliveries are proceeding during COVID-19:

Courier services have made modifications to avoid contact around obtaining signatures. They will establish contact with you before leaving the wine at your door for delivery. If you are not home they will coordinate a delivery later and they will NOT leave the wine at your door unattended. FIL and ICS will not be requiring signatures during the COVID crisis.

Canada Post has eliminated the need for stylus pens to be passed back and forth during the delivery process. “Instead, our delivery agent will leave a notice card indicating the post office where you can pick up your items by showing proof of identity.” In those cases, you will be given a card with information on where to go to pick up and sign for your parcel. If you are sick or under self-isolation, please arrange for someone to pick up these items in your place”.  More details => Canada Post public update on Covid19.
