David (89): This is 100% verdejo from old dry farmed vines grown in slate soils. There is nice sense of purity here with exotic lemon peel, star fuit, fresh herbs and a sense of minerality on the palate. There is some heft here, with a solid, fresh feel. The finish is very long with grapefruit and fresh herbs. Even and lively and excellent value. If you are sauvignon blanc you will appreciate the style, and the slightly different flavour direction.
