I picked up this wine while on a recent visit to Pelee Island Winery. It’s was a new release. I hope I am not becoming a wine snob but when I saw the wine was priced under $10 I wasn’t expecting too much.

Was I ever wrong. This one caught me by surprise. The blending of the three grapes Baco Noir 34%, Marchel Foch 33%, and Zweigelt 33% in almost equal amounts was perfect.

The wine is full of red cherry flavours following my a mild oaky taste. It’s just right and ready to drink right now.

Don’t let the cheap price fool you. It’s a good one.
