This is well honed, clean and bright blend of roussanne, viognier and other Rhone whites. It is not exuberant/showy,...

This southern Rhone white from Chateauneuf Du Pape is golden straw in appearance. The nose is clean with medium intensity and some nuttiness, minerality, citrus undertones and slight smoky oak. The palate is dry with good acidity, balance and a medium finish. This wine has the ability to age another 4-5 years. Would go well with pigeon, tuna, nutty or smoked cheeses or smoked eel. However the QPR is an issue.
