The 2008 Carta Vieja Limited Release Reserva Carmenère is light to medium bodied with integrated aromas of red currant, blueberry, cedar and oak. Tannins are refined to tannic (decant for 30 to 60 min) and the finish is medium and smooth. It is good to drink now and should hold for another 5 years. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 88 pts - great buy. Tasted Jan/11.
