this one has been flying off of the shelf at our local LCBO Vintages. Perhaps the little note board point out the high rating Robert parker have this wine had sometime to do with it.
Caught my eye so I picked one up.
It is EXCELLENT!
This one shows extreme complexity. ripe fruits, toast, spices, big acidity with gritty tannins.
This is one heck of a food wine.
The nose along, tells me this is going to be good. Complex nose of sour cherries, plums, pepper, savoury and cedar. Medium to full bodied, rich flavours, lively acidity and grainy tannins. Long savoury finish. Great wine now, but can only imagine, how much better and smoother this wine will be in 2-3 years. Tasted February 2011.
