This feminine wine is a lovely surprise. Light ruby colour (akin to a pinot), to its credit is absent the herbaceous vegetal green pepper aromas associated with under ripe CF. Rather the bouquet is effusively floral, with hints of pencil shavings, violets, red cherries, and raspberries. Medium body with its finesse bolstered by refined oak tannins that lend spicy overtones. I bought more.
