A rich, creamy and silky textured wine with complex lees notes, lemon, and nectarine fruit and a long crisp finish.

The 2012 vintage was warmer in Niagara, but this seems to have nicely held onto its acidity. It is 100% chardonnay...

The 2012 vintage of this Niagara classic Chardonnay sparkler starts off reductive with some onion skin aromas that blow off with some time in the glass. Complexity abounds, mostly citrus fruit, a hint of bitter, minerality, secondary and tertiary aromas including toasty bread and leesy honey. Persistent fine bubbles, vibrant acidity all nicely integrated and balanced with a long finish. Well done. Aug. 2018.

100% estate grown Chardonnay, partially barrel-fermented and then aged for 5 years in bottle before being disgorged, this has medium-high intensity aromas that are bready, nutty and lemony. On the palate, it's medium-full bodied with citrus and biscuity flavours, a hint of sweetness that's balanced by lively acids and bright mousse. The finish is long, clean, and dry with hints of mineral. Tasted Apr/2017.
