Great value here! It's not hard to get ripeness and richness in the sun-baked Roussillon, but it can be hard to...

Excellent wine, full bodied with notes of red fruits and blackberries. Animal and earth notes are also present. This little wine punches far above its weight the Languedoc-Roussilon is where the best QPR is to be found in the entire wine world at the moment. A memorable wine with a long lingering finish. Will improve with up to 5 years of cellaring, better on second day. By half a case or more and drink every 6 months **** Side note 2016 vintage is disappointing in comparison to the great 2015

Once again, Chapoutier delivers a fine, flavourful red from the Roussillon. Plenty of dark fruit flavours backed by notes of black olives, pepper and herbs. Seems a bit tight at the moment - wouldn't hurt to give this another year. Or better, buy a few bottles, try one now then again in a year or two. Tasted Aug 2017.
