Really well done, but in that "late night, no food needed" style. Big and polished with loads of blackberry, chocolate, vanilla, and smoke on the nose. It's ripe, round, and polished with enough acidity and tannin to keep it well structured. The palate has tons of ripe black fruit, though shows more savoury notes, with mint and black olive more prominent. Can't say this is something I really dig, but it's well done. It's big and it tastes expensive, but properly done. Get one for this cold winter nights. Tasted November 2014
