This is excellent value. A big bold deep purply ruby cab. Concentrated dark fruit and judicious oak treatment showing smoke, cedar and baking spice. Good acidity, but it's the fullness of the fruit and the tannic structure that provides the frame and the basis for aging another 3-5 years. High ABV at 14.5% but not that much noticeable heat on the excellent length. Decant for an hour and enjoy with a steak or cellar mid term. Oct. 2014.
