Very smooth and sexy for a Cabernet Franc. Cool climate tobacco leaf notes mix with warm lush fruit note - cherry, blueberry, blackberry fruits. Graceful finish.

The 2010 Pillitteri Estates Winemakers Selection Exclamation Reserve Cabernet Franc, aged in French Oak barrels for 24 months, has appealing aromas of cranberry, pomegranate, red currant and wood. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with crisp acidity, tight/drying tannins and a medium finish. This is a food friendly wine; it will benefit from short term cellaring – drink 2015/16 to 2020. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts.
