This is a light bodied (10.5% alch) riesling with some sweetness yet nicely balanced by very fresh, zesty acidity...

The 2011 Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier Dom Riesling has appealing aromas of lime, ripe gooseberry and pineapple. It is a medium bodied, off-dry, fruity wine, with refreshing acidity and a medium, slightly on the sweet side, finish. It is food friendly or can be enjoyed on its own; drink now – 2017. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted Jan/14.
