The 2012 Te Mata Estate Sauvignon Blanc, from Hawke’s Bay, has intense aromas of ripe gooseberry and subtle tropical fruit. It is mineral, dry wine with light to medium body, good acidity and a medium finish. My impression: NICE, 88-89 pts Tasted in May/13 at 'Tasted at New Zealand Wine Fair' http://grapeselections.com/new-zealand-wine-fair/.
