While Sortilege Prestige knocks it out of the ball park with the use of actual top quality maple syrup and seven year old all rye whisky, Crown Royal does a decent job for twenty dollars less by using lab created natural and artificial maple flavours. With a good base of whisky and flavours of maple taffy on pancake, this is most pleasant on the rocks or added to a whisky based cocktail for extra layers of seductive flavour.
