This wine, named for the Indian Runner Ducks that help control vineyard pests, is quite floral on the nose, and possesses intense aromas of pineapple, banana, melon, pear and apple. The palate is crisp and intensely flavoured, fruity and nicely spiced with a seam of framing acidity. A superb value, and perfect with salmon steaks. (VINTAGES panel, June 2012)
