A few years ago, this wine (an earlier vintage) caught everyone off-guard at a dinner party we hosted. I nor anyone else expected much from this southern French blend but the room fell silent as we all took our first sip. Lovely red fruit and silky smooth tannis. The Syrah and Grenache add an element of spice but it's not pronounced. Decant now or let it sit for 2 years.
