A very powerful red, with plenty of tannin. Hits the palate like a wall of flavour, predominantly black fruit and a bit of a medicinal note. Tannic and alcoholic on the finish. I think that this needs a couple of years before delivering full enjoyment, but lots here for a ten and a fiver. Tasted Sept 2012.
