After an hour of decantation, the nose entices of the spicy, dark berry sensations that await. Velvet on the palate, with a middle of dark fruit, the finish is long and relinquishes to earthy chalk....begging for the process to start again.

Plum and cherry wood aromas from cork. Very nice lavender, violet and toasty wood and licorice aromas. Medium-bodied with nicely integrated tannins. Sweet dark fruit flavours on the palate with some spice kicking in midway, leading to a smooth, herbal-note, medium-length finish. Very good acidity. An easy drinking red with some substance. Very nice typical southern Rhone Grenache and Syrah blend. Dark ruby, a lot of black berries, peppery.
Tannins are firm and well balanced, finish is long and pleasant. Tasted January 2017

Very ripe, full-bodied Cotes du Rhone. Soft, approachable, displaying notes of blueberries, supported by notes of herbs. Some heat and alcohol is noticeable on the finish, but this is a solid red all in all. For drinking over the next few years. Tasted Oct 2012.
