Tasted April 2012. Reaffirmed that Merlot on it's own is not one my favourite of wines. A spicy floral nose with hints of leather/cigar. Taste reminds me of pemmican, a mixture of lean meat and red berries that's been lightly smoked. Not bad, just not my cup of tea.
