Albarino originated in and is the flagship varietal of the Rias Baixas region in the Galicia region of northwest Spain. Thick skinned, this wine has bracing acidity, with a strong underlying minerality. Light gold in colour, it has a floral nose with forward lemon and white grapefruit flavours.
