This has a very generous, sensuous aromatic nose with all kinds of spicy sage and sausage. So Spanish! It’s plump,...

This was a weird one...not sure if i really liked it, or didn't like it! Very-ripe and fat with a plummy, pruney, spicy, herbal nose. Full bodied, lot's of concentrated, dark, smokey berries. Has a distinct barnyardy sourness which added some complexity but didn't quite jibe with me. Overall well balanced but maybe too decadent and plush. Would be a good Paella wine. I might give this another shot...I couldn't decide if it was a 90 or 88. Funny.
