A very aromatic Cabernet France with soft, fragrant fruit and pretty violet notes. Bright acidity strikes a balance...

Drank this too early (Jan 2011), even after aerating and decanting for several hours. It needs a few more years in the bottle

Nose of cherry coke was quite nice but it also had a detergent and hand lotion scent that was not. Some artificial vanilla extract notes.

Medium bodied with a sour, vinegary taste. Thin and acidic.

This might work with certain foods and it might need some more time but right now it didn't do much for me at all.

I tasted this blind among a bunch of other Cabernet Francs. I was very surprised when i discovered that this came in last place for me. Often a name and a price can influence your perception.

Overall, a very disappointing wine. The prior week I had their Pinot, which was one of the nicest Ontario wines I have had the pleasure of enjoying.

Alas, I cannot say the same for the Cabernat Franc.

It had a disagreeable sour taste that I was unable to get past.
