This wine evoked some interesting reactions around the table. As someone who dislikes tasteless wines and appreciates a flavourful wine, I appreciated this for its abundant flavours. To me, it smelled like dried raisins (without any sweetness) - chalk this up to my small vocabulary of wine fragrances and had an alcohol heat. Flavours were about the same as the smell. My husband could barely drink it though so not for everyone.
