Medium+ to medium-high intensity nose takes some coaxing to reveal attractive aromas of blk chry, currant & rose petals flecked w/ strwbry, while surrounding a core of savoury earth & mushroom. Medium+ bodied palate has good weight & concentration that supports the spiced, ripe blk chry, mushroom, savoury earth, currant & strwbry flavours. Crisp acids are juicy & succulent. Impressively structured w/ textured tannins + some herbal notes on mid-palate add further complexity. Blk chry & currants give way to savoury earth & mushroom notes on long, crisp & well-structured finish. Tasted May 2025. Score: 91+ pts
