This is a dark, very ripe red with chocolate, vanilla, plummy-cassis fruit and meaty notes - some spearmint and tea...

A great weekend, value priced wine that screams at you to fire up the BBQ. Keep things simple, hamburgers will do.

Very inviting nose offers hints of tobacco, smoky wood, and plum. The same notes attack the palate with some added complexity from hints of bacon, and black pepper.

Full body, with a noticeably hot finish.

Which the high alcohol in this wine do share it with friends, as more than one glass in a sitting will sneak up on you fast, you won’t see it coming.

This is wine on overdrive; like a teenager screaming down the backroads, speedometer pegged and stereo cranked in their parent’s new car; any faster and it could all fall apart. At 16% alcohol/volume, I expected something overblown but amazingly, this holds itself together very well. A mix of plums, raspberries, vanilla, and cracked pepper swerve around your palate; there’s heat but not the anticipated alcohol burn for such high concentration. Medium to full bodied and a very modern style but fun to drink at the same time – Buckle-up Baby, we’re going for a ride!

You sure get a lot for your money with this wine. Lots of different flavours. Great fruit with a surprisingly long finish. I agree with David Lawrason in that it's almost cloying. I wouldn't say this is my favourite Shiraz but for the money, you do get a lot. I think this wine would be a general crowd pleaser.

Holy smacks, this is BIG TIME. I can't even see my fingers through the glass. Deep and rich inky, purple colour. Nail Polish and high Octane on the nose, I was guessing 15%, actually 16%. Dried, pruney, blackberry and spice on the palate. This wine is big and long finishing, big rich, ripe fruit extract. If you're in the mood for a knock me over shriaz, than this will do.
