Blend of Sangiovese with a small amount of Canaiolo and other varieties. The fresh, lifted nose is highly aromatic with ripe red cherry, sweet spice, cinnamon, clove, rose floral, and savoury earth notes, all of which comes through harmoniously on the medium to medium-full bodied palate. It's dry with very good acidity and well-structured tannins. Really nicely balanced and composed throughout with delicious dark cherry and savoury earth flavours lingering on the exceptionally long finish. Tasted Oct. 2024.

Superb Chianti Classico, with pitch perfect acidity and tannin, bright red fruit, a bit of spice and herbs and well folded-in oak. Great wine with or without food. Drinking very well now, though I believe that this can hold another 5 years or so for a more mature expression. Tasted Dec 2025.
