The Roost sits on slope deep within the Beaver Valley in the Georgian Bay region near Collingwood. The vineyard was planted by Michael and Jessica Maish in 2013/2014, almost exclusively to very winter hardy varieties like marquette and frontenac bred at the University of Minnesota - Canadian Wine Insider.
