Ripe fruit shrouded in a musky, smoky and peppery haze with quite a sense of lift for cabernet sauvignon. A crunchy...

The medium-high intensity nose is open with evergreen, forest herbs, red and black berry fruit, currant, and gentle oak spice aromas with savoury earth undertones. It's medium-full bodied on the fresh palate with ripe red and black fruits, currants, and dried herb flavours accented with oak spice, evergreen, and cassis notes. It is nicely balanced with fresh, juicy acidity and fine-grained, lightly grippy tannins. Savoury with cedary oak notes lingering on the long finish. Tasted Aug. 2023.
