Mainly Syrah & Petite Sirah, this has a fragrant, medium-high intensity nose that is ripe & dark fruited with black plum, blackberry jam & black raspberry aromas plus gentle oak spice and sweet vanillin notes. It's medium-full bodied w/ very ripe, sweet dark fruit, blackberry jam, black plum & grapey flavours accented with black pepper spice, gentle oak, and touches of savoury earth. Fresh acidity tempers the slightly sweet flavour profile, while the broad, creamy tannins are smooth & refined. The dark berry & jammy flavours continue through to the long, gently woody finish.
