This has a medium-high intensity nose that delivers ripe red fruited aromas of currant, wet earth, cassis, brambly, cherry & cedary oak spices w/ hints of dried leafy green herbs. It's well-structured on the medium-full bodied palate with lovely red & black fruited notes of currant, cherry, cedar oak spice, clove, cassis & earthy flavours. It's supported by juicy, balanced acids & smooth, fine grained & well-knit tannins. Subtle grippiness on mid-palate, while savoury earthy, spice & even some mineral notes linger on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted Feb. 2023. Score: 91+ pts
