Bright and cheerful red from the Douro. Plenty of nicely ripened fruit, hints of spice and licorice, and wood is but a background feature. So easy to sip. Score drops a tad as the finish is merely good, but a solid wine here. Drinking now, but fresh and frim enough to hold for a few years as well. Tasted Nov 21.
