Pretty rare to see Barolo at this price, and even better that is offering good complexity, depth and drive - at least...

A youthful Barolo with tannins and flavours that may stun the palate. Notably tannic but positively so resulting in a...

Lovely, highly aromatic nose delivers very pretty cherry, dried rose floral, and sweet spice aromas which follow through on the palate, joined by wood spice notes. Acids are very good, while the finish is long and balanced. Needs a few years for the very grippy and chalky tannins to integrate. Tasted Sept/2019.
