Blend of 67% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Malbec, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Elegant, medium-high intensity aromatics featuring kirsch, plum, black currant, black cherry, cassis, and licorice notes. It’s full-ish bodied with delicious aroma replays plus Christmas cake and wood spice notes adding complexity. Acids are juicy, while tannins are structured and a touch drying. More wood spice and dark berry tones come through on the long finish. Tasted Mar/2020.
