This is a great riesling - so complex, balanced and deep - hailing from old vines in a great vintage. Intense aromas...

It's only wine but I like it
It's only wine but I like it

A fine RIesling from Thirty Bench, A little off-dry but not at all cloying. Acidity seems a but lower than expected for Riesking, perhaps as a result of the freak-ish warm weather in Sept/Oct. Complexity is very good yet short of outstanding to my palate. Value is merely fair. Thjis seems to be at peak enjoyment, unless you want more of those petrol characteristics - then wait a couple more years. Tasted Dec 2021.
