It's only wine but I like it
It's only wine but I like it

A Merlot- Cab Sauv blend that has some red fruit peaking out from behind some very notable oak-driven flavours. Fruit seems ripe, with no notable green flavours and there is some crisp acidity on the finish. But, for me, the oak is just too dominant (the American component especially). I will try my second in 3 years or so to se if the oak has faded but I won't hold my breath. Tasted Nov 2020.
