A simply fantastic wine. Although it has a hint of red cherry, the fruit spectrum is dominated by dark fruit including cassis, blackberry, and plum. The complexity continues to develop in the glass with notes of tobacco leaf, cigar box, milk chocolate, leather, bacon fat, and white pepper. There is also violet note that matches the colour in the glass nicely. A subtle hint of French vanilla coffee rounds out the nose nicely. Acidity is medium and Tannins are medium plus and silky smooth. Very good length.
