Yum. Spicy vanilla oak and homemade red fruit jam on the nose. Deep ruby colour. Flavours reflect the nose, plus a little coffee and unmistakable cherry coke and Dr. Pepper. The best flavours emerge on the excellently long finish (bad English, I know). The mouthfeel is Merlot-esque silky. Big points for the yum factor and combining finesse and power, but maybe a little lacking in complexity. Alcohol comes through a little too. Still, a great wine.
