Properly clean and peppery in the cool climate syrah style, this is textbook stuff. I love the aromatic-peppery side,...

Co-fermented with 1% Viognier. Nice, appealing, medium-high intensity nose that has black pepper, red and black fruits, and some meaty aromas. Elegant, refined tannins with some grip on the medium bodied palate with nicel aroma replays and a touch jammy. Nicely balanced with fresh acids and finishes long. Tasted Jan/2019. Score: 89+ pts
