The last Archangel I tasted was from the 2011 vintage and it was a not so dry bubble with notable cooked apple notes....

Fragrant citrus, lemon, biscuity and brioche aromas. The palate is fairly dry with crisp acids adding a nice texture to the frothy mousse. Nice balanced aroma replays on the flavour profile with more apple and stonefruit flavours. Very good finish length. Really quite lovely. Tasted Apr/2019.
