This traditional producer does not use any stainless steel - even the fermentations are done in large wooden casks....

Medium-high intensity aromatics seem shy, offering dark berry, oak spice, savoury, and earthy aromas. It is full bodied with big, chewy tannins that are integrating well. It has very good, juicy acidity with more balanced dark berry and oak spice flavours. Nicely textured with a long, mouthwatering finish. Better in 2-3 years. Tasted Sept/2019.
