This was a surprise; I was expecting something basic but nope just a good old-fashioned value wine with some sediment since it's from 2016. Aromas of plum, blackberry, and iron. Flavours of tobacco, plum, blackberry, and saline with a cedar finish. Medium acidity with soft tannins. - Oct 2023

A simple, easygoing Portuguese red. Quite ripe, with a bit of a raisined note along with the ripe fruit. Well made, but nothing particular complex, this has soft tannin and an average finish. Fine enough for less than $13 but not worthy of another purchase for me. Tasted Oct 2019.
