It's too bad that the LCBO panders to the market demand for this type of California Cab that is over-oaked, and overly sweet with stewed fruit and little sense of any place. There is some Cab Sauv typicity in the blackberry, cassis flavours, but just too much mochafied, confected vanillin and sweetness. Go to Chile to find way better examples of Cabernet at more reasonable prices. Aug. 2018.
