Going a little bit deeper still it is the syrah that does the early adult talking in this Rhône blend. Grenache...

The subtle nose offers red cherry, spice, and touches of candied ripe red berries. It is full-bodied with nice, spiced aroma replays layered on top of some earthy and wood flavours. It has vibrant acids and refined, gritty tannins that are integrating very nicely. The finish is long and chalky. 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah. Tasted Aug/2019.
